Rochefort-en-Terre: a medieval gem
Voted one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France and awarded the Petite Cité de Caractère label, Rochefort-en-Terre is a true journey back in time. Perched on its rocky spur, this village charms visitors with its cobbled lanes, its timber-framed houses and its façades adorned with geraniums and ivy. In summer, the entirely pedestrianised old town reveals a hushed atmosphere where art and craft makers, galleries and gourmet shops thrive. Do not miss the Place du Puits and the château that overlooks the town.

The Lac au Duc: an open-air paradise
Created in the 12th century, the Lac au Duc is one of the largest inland lakes in Brittany, stretching over 250 hectares between Ploërmel, Taupont and Loyat. It is a firm favourite with lovers of nature and outdoor activities:
- Water activities: the sailing club offers sailing, windsurfing, catamaran, kayaking, water skiing and wakeboarding.
- Leisure and relaxation: a golf course, picnic areas and a 15 km walking trail run alongside the lake.
